The carbon dioxide we use to make dry ice is not newly released into the atmosphere; it is CO₂ captured and recovered as a by-product of industrial processes. When the dry ice sublimes that gas returns to the cycle, creating no net increase in greenhouse gas.
Our principles
- Preferring recovered carbon dioxide sources.
- Planning insulation and logistics to reduce sublimation losses — less loss means less production.
- Reducing our customers' consumption of chemical solvents and waste water by expanding the use of dry ice blasting.
- Encouraging the reuse of EPS packaging and directing it to recycling channels.
- Planning our vehicle fleet and delivery routes with fuel efficiency in mind.
- Achieving full compliance with environmental legislation.
