HMA Yeşil Enerji — Kuru Buz

Cold Chain

120 hours of cold, documented.

Cold chain failures rarely come from the ice. They come from the plan. We calculate the load, build the package and hand you the record that proves it held.

RECOMMENDED PACKAGING PLAN

Thermal blanket (single layer) + pallet pack

UN 1845CLASS 9 · IATA

Dry ice load

53–72kg

Dry ice form

Block core + 16 mm pellet support

Insulation

Single-layer reflective blanket

  • Datalogger recommended: door-to-door temperature evidence is delivered as PDF/CSV.
  • The blanket slows sublimation by approximately 65%.
  • Values are preliminary engineering estimates; the final load is verified in the packaging plan and the UN 1845 net-weight declaration is applied to the package.

The method

Four layers between your product and the ambient.

1 · The right dry ice

Nuggets for shipments, blocks and slices for long lanes. Ice load is calculated from transit time, ambient temperature and package volume — typically 15–25% of the load weight.

2 · The right barrier

Thermal blanket with ≈97% reflectance over the pallet, EPS shippers for boxes. Sublimation drops by up to 65%, protection extends to 48–120+ hours.

3 · The proof

A datalogger records the whole journey minute by minute and produces a PDF/CSV report for your customer, your quality team and your insurer.

4 · The paperwork

UN 1845, Class 9 label, net dry ice weight, venting statement and carrier-specific per-package limits — prepared before the terminal, not at the counter.

Timeline

From plan to proof

  1. T-3 days

Lane, transit time and worst-case ambient temperature agreed. Ice load and packaging geometry calculated.

  2. T-1 day

Materials staged: dry ice production slot booked, blankets, shippers and dataloggers prepared.

  3. T-0 packing

Pallet or boxes packed with us, datalogger started and labelled, documents handed over.

  4. Terminal

Acceptance with correct Class 9 labelling and declared net weight; buffer ice for delays.

  5. Arrival

Datalogger read, PDF report issued as evidence of an unbroken chain.

Dry ice is a dangerous good in the air

UN 1845, Class 9. The package must vent, the net weight must be declared and the limit per package depends on the carrier and the aircraft. We handle the labelling and the declaration with you so nothing is refused at acceptance.

Destination, transit time and product weight are enough for us to come back with an ice load, a packaging plan and a price.
