Product overview
The 16 mm nugget is the workhorse of the cold chain: its surface-to-volume ratio is far more balanced than 3 mm pellets, so it keeps working inside the package for hours while still surrounding the product completely.
We recommend it as the default form for meat and seafood shipments, frozen food distribution, pharmaceutical transport and flash freezing in restaurant or R&D kitchens.

- The maximum dry ice weight per package differs by airline — a UN 1845 declaration is required for air freight.
- Do not carry it for long periods inside a closed vehicle cabin; CO₂ accumulates.
